Dance With Flair, LLC (Dance Instruction & Birthday Parties)
Location: 168 S. Adams, Oswego
Dancing With Special Stars: Kids or Adults
This class is for special needs students and their parents/siblings/DWF assistant. Students will learn dance moves set to music. Parents/siblings or one of the Dance With Flair assistants will help students at their own levels. Simple combinations set to music will be repeated from week to week. A variety of dance styles and props will be used in the class. Class will end with stretching and relaxation methods. Music is turned down low. Students who are bothered by too much noise can wear headphones if needed. Wheelchairs are accessible in the dance room. For those students who wish to participate, tap shoes are a great way for students to receive sensory stimulation. The stomping of the feet helps the vestibular input to the brain. The students become more focused as they use the shoes throughout the class. There are some used tap shoes available for purchase ($5.00). Otherwise, students can have bare feet or a jazz shoe.
